The UUFCO adult library books and media are located in the Founders’ Fireside Room and in the Religious Exploration Sophia Fahs Commons and classrooms. Children's books are available for parents to check out and are located in the classrooms.
Books are shelved according to the Dewey Decimal System — with number 289 for books on Unitarian Universalism.
The catalogue is available here - no username or password is required.
Books may be borrowed for three weeks by filling in your name, phone number, and the date the book is checked out on the card in the book pocket and putting the card in the wooden Checked Out container, located in the Sophia Fahs Commons. We use an honor system for returns so please make a personal note of when the book is due back at the designated return location. (You may be called if the book is overdue, with a request for a voluntary donation to the library.)
If you would like to donate books in a specific category, information about how you can do that is also located in the Sophia Fahs Commons. We will soon have a "Wish List" of specific books posted here that we would like to add to our collection.
The library is a work in progress and we invite new members to join the Library Committee by calling Mayme Trumble.
