Religious Exploration and Family Ministries

ChildrenCircleOur Mission is to provide the children and youth of this Fellowship a foundation based on Unitarian Universalist principles and a community dedicated to providing an environment in which spiritual awareness, tolerance, acceptance, and personal growth can be nurtured and developed according to each child's unique nature.

Faith Formation for All Ages

We welcome you and your family to our religious exploration program for children and youth! We aim to provide our young people with experiences that will help them journey through life with integrity, compassion, hope, and wonder. We accomplish this through:

  • exploring the wisdom of many spiritual traditions.
  • asking questions in an open-minded community.
  • caring for each other.
  • offering opportunities for creative expression of spiritual ideas.
  • understanding that we are each on a life-long path of personal discovery and spiritual growth, of human "becoming."

We use curricula developed by the Unitarian Universalist Association in combination with worship, community building, social action and creative integration as the building blocks of our programming. Whatever your religious background — or if you have never participated in a faith community — we hope you'll make UUFCO a spiritual home for your whole family!

Our Religious Exploration program could not run without the help of volunteers. Please take the time to sign up to volunteer in one of our RE classrooms on Sunday morning and make a difference by nourishing our community. Contact Ayla Halberstadt, DRE if interested in volunteering in RE.

Help build our RE Library!

Visit our Amazon wish list and select a book that you would like to purchase. These books will all be available for our children and youth to borrow, as well as for use during RE classes.
