“Faithful Traditions of Forgiveness"

~ Rev. Antonia Won

“Lessons from our Children"

~ Ayla Halberstadt, Director of Religious Exploration

UUFCO's Director of RE, Ayla Halberstadt, will present Sophia Lyon Fahs as one of the most influential people in Unitarian Universalist Religious Education. We'll explore the impact Sophia Fahs had on children and the impact the UUFCO children have on us. This is will be an intergenerational service, no RE classes will meet, but childcare is available.

Sunday April 24 at 10:30 am:

“Myth, Metaphor and Mission"

~ Rev. Antonia Won, Speaker

This Sunday, I planned to talk about how myths and metaphors can support our spiritual journey or life purpose.  It also seems like a good time to explore what's behind our new draft mission statement.  After all, it will be a symbol for the congregation's life purpose, won't it?

Sunday April 17 at 10:30 am:  “Simple Gifts:  Spring Cleaning for the Soul"

~ Guest Speaker Rev. Kevin Lawson

It's that time of year:  we clear out the garage, we clean up the yard, we freshen up the house.  What does it look like if we reflect upon a spring cleaning of ourselves?  What are the simple gifts that might bring forth a sense of peace and wholeness to continue on the journey of living, refreshed and renewed?

Sunday April 10 at 10:30 am:  “Revelation:  Religion and Reason"

~ Rev. Antonia Won, Speaker

We’ll explore two different takes on the notion of ‘revelation’ that shape our culture, and perhaps even our understanding of religion and spirituality.  Join us. You might have a revelation of your own!
