UUFCO’s rapid growth and occupancy of our new building accelerated our transition from a pastoral-size to a program-size congregation, creating the need for new teams and committees and inspiring an examination of our organizational structure and governance model. The Board, the Governance Task Force, and other church leaders consulted with Dan Hotchkiss, author of Governance and Ministry and launched the change to our current governance by policy. With the partnering of our recently settled minister, Reverend Scott Rudolph, a new organizational structure is in place to facilitate more effective, efficient and mission-driven decision making.
